Safe-Guard Heat Shield

Silent Steel USA’s Safe-Guard is a lightweight, impact-resistant heat shield engineered for the Streamer family of suppressors. While Silent Steel USA suppressors are designed to run cooler than many comparable systems, the Safe-Guard adds an additional layer of protection for users and gear by helping reduce risk of burns, thermal signature, and visible mirage during sustained firing. Designed to withstand suppressor temperatures over 1,100°F (600°C) for short durations, its carbon-fiber outer hull creates an air gap that limits heat transfer and promotes high airflow for faster cooling of both the suppressor and shield.
